Ifalna and Gast: These are Aerith's biological parents, but she never got to meet her father because Hojo killed him 20 days after Aerith was born. Ifalna, her mother, was always a good parent that taught Aeritht the basics of the Cetra/Ancient and she protected her from the many experiments that Hojo wanted to conduct on her. Aerith has high respect, love, and admiration for her mother because she gave up her life to save the little 7 year old, Aerith. One of the many reasons that Aerith hasn't given up on life because she believes that she is indebted to her.
Elmyra Gainsborough: This is the women that found Aerith and Ifalna at the train station in the slums because she was waiting for her husband's return from the Wutain War. It was in that very train station that Ifalna pleaded Elmyra to take Aerith away from ShinRa, in other words, to take care of her. Elmyra felt sympathy for the small girl whose mother died in front of her eyes, so she raised, loved, and protected Aerith until she left on her journey where Aerith never returned, again. Aerith loves her as her second mother and has great respect for her, as well.
Tseng: He was the turk that tried to take Aerith away when she was only eight years old, but instead of kidnapping her, he asked her to return. Tseng is counted as Aerith's only childhood friend because he's been trying his best to physically protect her even if he was doing just his job. Aerith cares for Tseng since he was the only one that knew of her existance as a child. Aerith wasn't allowed to leave her home or other turks would have kidnapped her, so Aerith didn't have a normal life. Eventhough in the end Tseng had to kidnap her, she doesn't blame him for it because she clearly understands that Tseng's loyalty to ShinRa is his top priority.
Zack Fair: Oh boy! This man is something extremely precious to her....you can say that he's her "promised land". Zack was Aerith's first love and continues to be the one person that she loves and adores more than anyone. He was the one that bought her her signature pink ribbon, suggested that she sell her flowers, and wear all in pink. He literally fell from the sky, so he is a blessing from the planet for Aerith. Unfortunatly, he is also a double-edge sword, for this man has brought great suffering for her, as well. When he dissapeared during the Nibelheim incident, he left a great hole in her heart, but she waited for his return until her time of death. Aerith didn't know all the things that happened to Zack and she never did find out; although, she had a feeling that he might have died, for his parents were in the same boat as she. But still....if Zack would appear before her...Aerith would just run into his arms instead of demanding for answers. That could wait for later, no?
Cloud Strife: Another man that fell from the sky just like Zack, and he was also the man that reminded her so much of her first love. He claimed to be a 1st Class SOLDIER just like Zack, as well. So Aerith fell for his charms pretty quickly, but slowly she began to realize that Cloud was entirely different from Zack, so she started to fall in love with him for different reasons. Cloud is her bodyguard and someone special to her, as well. He was the one that helped Aerith begin to love her Cetran/Ancient side of her because she has always hated her linage. If Aerith would have lived longer, then Cloud would have been the person to help her move on from Zack, but fate can be quite cruel.
Tifa Lockheart: Aerith's best friend and rival for Cloud, as well. She is part of AVALANCHE, part of the same village as Cloud, and works as a barmaid. Tifa is the completely opposite of Aerith in fisical appearance, strength, and personality. Aerith is oppitimistic while Tifa is the opposite; although, she eventually starts to be more optimistic than in the past. Eventhough the two are rivals, they're also best friends, for both girls are very likeable. It's hard to hate one another, no?
Marlene Wallace: She is Barret's adopted daughter and the little sister of the group. Aerith and Marlene met each other during the original FFVII; eventhough, the two only knew each other for a short time - they both grew to care about one another. Aerith loves Marlene as a little sister while Marlene loves Aerith as an older sister. There are even times that Marlene cheered on for Cloud to get together with Aerith. She is a very sweet girl who Aerith would sacrifice everything to keep her safe from harm (Which she has done a couple of times to prove it).
The Rest of Avalanche Aerith loves the rest of AVALANCHE as a family or plantonic love. They've all been through a lot on their journey before and after her death. Eventhough Aerith died, everyone in AVALANCHE still keeps her memory alive by wearing the small pink ribbon on their arm.
ShinRa Executives: These are the people that Aerith hates most, for ruining her life. They are the ones that began the whole Jenova ordeal, killed her parents, and just made her childhood terrible. The reason that the company is evil because people like them make it evil. The only person that Aerith doesn't completely resent is Reeve, for he made up for it at the North Crater by sacrificing his stuff doll, Caith Sith. Aerith has respect for Reeve, but for everyone else....she dislikes them entirely.
The Rest of the Turks: Most of the turks aren't terrible, but they are persistant in trying to kidnap her. Aerith is careful when it comes to turks that aren't Tseng, but there are a few turks that has helped her escape from both ShinRa and AVALANCHE. But the turks as a whole, Aerith doesn't hate them, for they are only doing their job.
Hojo and Sephiroth: These are the two men that caused all of Aerith's suffering. Hojo killed Aerith's father while Sephiroth took her life away which is pretty ironic. Aerith has hatred for both men, but she pities them, as well. She knows full-well that those two will never live in peace even after death.
